Week 7 of the college football season featured one of the most highly anticipated matchups. The game lived up to the hype, as the Oregon Ducks narrowly defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes 32-31.

The Buckeyes led most of the game, but their lead never reached double digits. The Ducks took the lead for the final time with 1:47 left in the fourth quarter on a 19-yard field goal. Ohio State then advanced down the field, but the clock expired as quarterback Will Howard scrambled for 12 yards to the Oregon 26-yard line.

Despite the one-point loss on the road, Greg McElroy said on "Always College Football" that he still believes Ohio State is a national championship contender.

"I came away still believing that Ohio State has kind of everything you want to win a championship," McElroy said.

The voters seemed to agree with McElroy, as Ohio State fell only two spots to No. 4 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) has the Buckeyes as the second-best team in the country behind the Texas Longhorns.

According to the FPI, Ohio State has the highest chance of winning the Big Ten but the second-highest chance of making the playoffs in the conference. Nevertheless, Ohio State remains one of the top teams to beat this year.

Not with Day and Knowles. I don't have that much faith in either. Knowles ain't no damn defensive guru. I have one word... Blitz.
