Tim McGraw may have a new rival in the industry if his fans' predictions prove to be true.

The "Live Like You Were Dying" singer and his wife and kids aren't the only musically-inclined members of the family, with McGraw's nephew, Timothy Wayne , quickly rising through the ranks of the country music scene.

Despite the perceived threat to his status, the beloved performer seemed more than pleased to proudly boast about Wayne in a new video recently uploaded to Instagram, which he captioned, "Check out @timothywayne’s new tune 'Guy With A Guitar'"—but some fans think he might be offering some free promo for the "competition" after hearing the younger artist sing.

Fans gushed over the up-and-comer, with one writing, "Way to go Timothy proud of you good start."

"Wow he sounds amazing Tim ❤️❤️❤️❤️," another said, while a third commented, "Oh my, the talent ❤️."

"Can’t wait to see what he has coming for us in the future. Congratulations on the new song," someone else wrote, going on to suggest, "Tim looks like you may have some competition there 😂😂."
