NC Police Officer arrested after being accused of misconduct

A North Carolina Police Officer is facing charges after being accused of misconduct. WCNC TV in Charlotte reports that 45 year old Officer, David Brashear of the Mooresville Police Department was arrested, Tuesday.

Brashear is charged with resisting, delaying, and obstructing and accessing computers. Town officials say the investigation started after "reported misconduct involving a woman after an encounter at a local establishment."

A release from Mooresville officials says the investigation revealed that Brashear misused government issued devices and databases. Investigators believe this may not be an isolated incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mooresville Police Department.
