Pontotoc County Man Charged with Possession of Two Controlled Substances

A man was arrested in Pontotoc County and charged with possession of two different controlled substances on October 8, 2024.

On Tuesday, October 8th, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Billy Dean Keith was arrested in the north section of the county. Illegal drugs were reportedly found in his vehicle.

According to a press release from Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department, after the investigation was complete, Keith was charged with possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl.

Keith was booked into the Pontotoc County Adult Detention Center. His bond was set at $20,000 by a Pontotoc County Justice Court Judge.
