I enjoy watching my granddaughter. I retired a few years ago, and I told my daughter I could not do it daily. She totally agreed. It's only one day per week, between 10-4. I don't get paid, but she does provide a bottle of wine from time to time. 😊 I know if I needed the money, or if I asked, she would pay me. Grandparents should not feel obligated to watch their grandchildren....paid or not.
