<body><div><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=4EIVJ8_0w9RaUxe00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4EIVJ8_0w9RaUxe00" width="1320" height="743" >BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police in Bedford County say an Ohio couple is behind bars, accused of leaving two young children, unattended, at a local motel.Police say 20-year-old Tristin Brown and 19-year-old Diamond Mitchell, both of Mansfield, Ohio, reportedly admitted to leaving the children inside a room at the Wiltshire Motel, in Breezewood, while they went to the store.According to the affidavit, troopers were dispatched to the motel, on the morning of Oct. 11th, after the owner reportedly found one of the children outside, alone.Police say the owner then went to the room where they discovered an open door and another child inside, with no adult nearby.Investigators say troopers reported that the bathtub inside the room was filled with water and the room's temperature was approximately 36 degrees at the time.Police say while troopers were on scene, Mitchell and Brown returned to the motel, at which time Mitchell exited the vehicle while Brown reportedly drove away.Authorities say Mitchell explained that the children were asleep when they left and stated that they had only been gone for a little over an hour.Police say Mitchell also acknowledged that the bathtub was full of water because there was an alleged issue with the drain.During questioning, authorities say both parents also acknowledged that it was not wise to leave the children unattended.Upon further investigation, police confirmed, via video surveillance, that the couple had gone to a nearby Walmart and Dollar General, before returning to the motel.According to online court records, both Brown and Mitchell are each facing multiple felony counts of child endangerment.They are being housed at the Bedford County Jail on $200,00 bail each.</div></body>
