Nighttime highway closures planned for California's busy 101 for widening project of congested road

Caltrans Bay Area is making progress on the Marin-Sonoma Narrows B-7 Project, with the next phase affecting traffic tonight, Wednesday, October 16. The San Antonio Road on-ramp to Northbound US-101 will be closed from 7 p.m. to midnight to allow for an underground drainage system replacement.

Daytime access will remain unaffected, but drivers heading north are advised to take an alternate route by using Southbound US-101 to Atherton Avenue and re-entering via the Atherton Avenue on-ramp. The closure is weather-dependent, but Caltrans thanks drivers for their patience as they work to improve road conditions.

Weather permitting, drivers heading north are encouraged to take Southbound US-101 to Atherton Avenue, where they can re-enter the freeway via the Atherton Avenue on-ramp.
