Bethany Joy Lenz Breaks Silence On Hilarie Burton Feud

One Tree Hill 's Bethany Joy Lenz is sharing her experience in a cult in her upcoming memoir, Dinner for Vampires Life on a Cult TV Show (While also in an Actual Cult!) , but the actress is opening up about everything and more during a recent appearance on the " Call Her Daddy " podcast, including her relationship with former OTH co-star Hilarie Burton.

In the episode, Bethany explained that there is some tension between her and Burton, confirming their feud, but is hopeful to resolve their issues one day. She told "Call Her Daddy" host Alex Cooper, "I love Hilarie, I have always and will always, and I don’t have any problem with her," and added, "There have been some bizarre misunderstandings that I really hope we can figure out one day, but I love that girl."

Elsewhere in the episode, Lenz talked about her experience being stuck in an abusive and controlling cult while simultaneously playing Haley James Scott on One Tree Hill . She shares what led her to this group, what her OTH castmates thought about it, how she escaped, and what it was like starting over again.
