Travis Kelce Voices Concern Over Inevitable Criticism Aimed at Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are off to a 5-0 start in the 2024 NFL season as they go after the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat.

With the Chiefs winning every week, it's hard to criticize the back-to-back world champions. But when/if the team suffers its first loss of the year, that criticism from NFL trolls will no doubt rear its ugly head.

Kelce referenced that fact during the most recent episode of the New Heights podcast — specifically regarding his relationship with Taylor Swift.

Kelce voiced his concerns about inevitable criticism of the relationship in response to some strong words of praise from special guest Pat McAfee.

"We've just got to keep winning," Kelce said. "If we lose, it's going to absolutely f---ing rain down, baby. Just got to keep winning and staying on top."

Kelce and the Chiefs had an early bye in Week 6. The Kansas City powerhouse will return to action for a Super Bowl rematch against the San Francisco 49ers this coming Sunday.

Kelce and Swift made a public appearance over the Chiefs' bye week, attending Game 1 of the ALCS playoff series between the Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees.

Following a slow start to the season, Kelce found his stride over the Chiefs' last couple games. Over the team's last two wins, the 12th-year pro has reeled in 16 catches for 159 yards. He's still in search of his first touchdown of the 2024 NFL season.

Sunday's highly-anticipated matchup against the 49ers will kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET.
