Upon hydrogen sulfide exposure, lack of oxygen to brain causes sudden loss of consciousness. Hydrogen sulfide is often known as knockdown gas. So she may have passed out immediately upon exposure… ? maybe she fell in because she was knocked out from breathing the gas looking into the open hole? Thus she wouldn’t have injuries from struggling to get out or staying afloat?
