Mini Goldendoodle Turns Parents' Wedding Ceremony Into Comedic Quest for Guests' Attention

At most weddings, the bride is the center of attention — just as she should be. Sure, it's a day to celebrate love with friends and family, it's about a new couple forming a union, and so on and so forth, but there's a reason you avoid wearing white at a wedding and don't actively try to be the best dressed person at the event. Nobody wants to upstage the bride on her big day!

However, none of these rules apply when a dog is part of the wedding. No matter how beautiful the bride looks, the dog is always going to steal the show... and in the case of the Mini Goldendoodle in the video below, the poor bride didn't stand a chance.

Not only did the pup in this Instagram Reel shared by @oakleydoodlegram have no problem assuming the role of the main character at her own mom's wedding, but it seems like, in reality, that was her goal. But considering how adorable this sweet Mini Goldendoodle named Oakley is, I can't see how she would have avoided it.

At the beginning of the video, Oakley was standing in front of all of the guests with her parents during the ceremony, but it seems like that beautiful moment didn't last long. In a split second, she was off and running into the crowd, visiting guests and looking for pets from anyone who was willing to hand them out.

At one point, Oakley was even jumping over wedding guests to get where she wanted to go, tail wagging.

Hey, at least she was being a good hostess and making sure she greeted everyone personally, right?

While this video may have encompassed Oakley's most entertaining wedding moments, this was, by no means, the only footage her parents have shown of her at their union.

And to the newlyweds' credit, they were very brave, because they had all three of their doodles as their wedding. The challenges that come with the experience most certainly paid off, though — can we talk about how gorgeous this family photo is ?

During the reception, they even brought Oakley out for a father/daughter dance with her dad and... she promptly took off, running all over the dance floor (and the room in general). At least they tried!

And there were plenty of sweet moments in between, too, like the ones we see in this video . Oakley might love the spotlight, but she is a very good girl.
