Liam Payne's ex-girlfriend Maya Henry breaks silence amid vile trolling after star's hotel death

Liam Payne's ex-fiancee Maya Henry broke her silence following the tragic death of the One Direction star on Wednesday.

One Direction's Liam Payne was found dead in Argentina just 45 minutes after he made Snapchat post .

The star was vacationing in Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo and local reports indicate that he fell off the third floor of his hotel. It is unknown at this time if the death was a suicide or unintentional as authorities continue to investigate. Witnesses told TMZ that Liam was acting erratically before his death, smashing his laptop. He reportedly was carried from his hotel back to his room. Photos were obtained by the publication of his body against a wooden deck where his identifiable tattoos were clearly shown.

After the tragic news broke, Maya's representative told the Daily Mail: "Right now she is obviously in shock". However, may 1D fans posted sickening comments aimed at Maya after she spoke out about her relationship with Liam in recent weeks.

In recent weeks Liam faced extreme criticism and backlash after his ex-girlfriend, Maya Henry, began to open up with allegations of mistreatment in their relationship. Lawyers told the DailyMail that Maya was preparing to take legal action against him. They said: "Maya Henry issued a cease and desist last week to Liam Payne following the emergence of new and concerning information. She has retained attorneys Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna to represent her. At this time, that is her only comment on the matter."

On TikTok, Maya said: "Ever since we broke up he messages me, will blow up my phone, not only from his phone, it's always from different phone numbers too, so I never know where it's gonna come from. He'll create new iCloud accounts to message me - it's always a new damn iCloud account. Every time I see one pop up on my phone I'm like, 'here we f---ing go again.'

"Also, he will email me... not only me, but he'll blow up my mom's phone. Is this normal behavior to you?"

She also accused Liam of preying on One Direction fans, highlighting his incessant usage of monetized Snapchat posts "because they're loyal to him." Moreover, in a TikTok comment, Maya claimed that he spoke poorly of his bandmates behind their backs, despite showing public support and attending their performances.
