Every person, especially our black sisters need to be able to wear their hair natural and love it. I actually am of mixed ethnicity and prefer my black sisters to wear their hair natural if possible. I think it’s beautiful!!!! I think children of mixed heritage, which includes black and indigenous, have the most beautiful hair in the world as well, and we should be able to wear our hair naturally without anyone judging us for what God gave us. It’s when we become unhappy with who we are and try to have another’s hairstyle, hair texture, & try to erase our individuality that aggravates me because it shows that we are not satisfied with what God gave us. That is a human characteristic, not to be happy with something that we have been born with, but at the same time, no one in this world has a right to judge another person for their natural look. Now if you’re not taking care of yourself, that’s a whole different story.
