The 83rd minute strike granted the Mountaineers a crucial point in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) stretch run via a 1-1 draw with Canisius.Needing to play forward after falling behind on a Golden Griffins second half free kick, the Mount fought against the wind and the setting sun with under 10 minutes to spare. Erin Antone popped up the ball up to Kayla Pennington, who then found Young in open space while also drawing out the Canisius keeper.
