Shohei Ohtani's Jaw-Dropping Three-Run Home Run Goes Viral During MLB Playoffs

There was never any doubt that Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani would become an X-factor, and he proved it on Wednesday night by crushing a towering three-run home run into the upper decks at Citi Field in New York, extending the Dodgers' lead to 7-0 in Game 3 of the NLCS over the New York Mets .

Ohtani's postseason has been unusual, to say the least. He continues to bat leadoff for Los Angeles, yet he is shockingly 0-for-22 with the bases empty. However, with runners on base, he has shined, going 7-for-9 and hitting an impressive .778 with two home runs and eight RBIs.

His latest home run turned heads and captivated fans, silencing a crowd filled with Mets supporters as he aimed to propel the Dodgers to a commanding 2-1 series lead.

    Check this out:

The home run went instantly viral all over social media. Surpassing 230,000 views on the MLB's X account in less then ten minutes of being posted.

The baseball was utterly crushed, coming off Shohei Ohtani's bat at a staggering 115.9 mph. This impressive three-run homer effectively sealed the game against Tylor Megill, a victory the Mets desperately needed.

Now, the pressure shifts to Game 4, which is nearly a must-win for New York. Falling to a 3-1 deficit against the Dodgers would mean the Mets would need to beat them three consecutive times, with two of those games in Los Angeles—an incredibly tough task.

Nonetheless, it was only a matter of time before the remarkable Shohei Ohtani delivered a standout moment, and this home run marked a signature highlight in his first postseason appearance of his MLB career.
