yes please make sure they are dead before operating to take organs. they should be some type of protection, a positive way to verify the person is actually brain dead, make sure life is really over for this person before diving into them. I know there are time limits to get organs out to be usable but geez there has to be a better way of knowing with 1000 percent accurately that this person is dead. Have more than one person verify, declare and sign off.
