    this is more common than you think. if they get wind you're a donor, they'll drag their feet in helping you stay alive. it's why I took myself off the list. when I die, my family can decide then.

    here's one for you. my cousin had a major heart attack. the hospital called repeatedly after he died begging his wife to donate his organs. she told them no Everytime they called. her brother worked at the same hospital. friends with the CEO. He went to him and told him to have the hospital STOP calling his sister she already told them no. CEO tells him that she has to sign a paper to NOT donate!! This same hospital took my uncle's eyes without permission from his wife. Mortuary called and told her. If you don't want organs donated PLEASE ask about the hospitals policy.
