    Liam Payne's heartbreak over son Bear with ex Cheryl before One Direction singer's sudden death

    Following the tragic death of former One Direction member Liam Payne , a poignant social media post about his son's aspirations has resurfaced. The 31-year-old singer was confirmed dead after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he had been vacationing with his girlfriend , Kate Cassidy.

    His body was discovered in a courtyard within the hotel premises after reportedly falling between 13 to 14 meters, resulting in fatal injuries. A local ambulance manager informed Todo Noticias of the incident.

    In light of his untimely passing, an earlier tweet featuring a photo of Payne's son with Girls Aloud singer Cheryl looking at a billboard in London's Leicester Square has gained renewed attention. The billboard displayed an image of Payne from a promotional shoot for his then-latest single 'Teardrops'.

    The touching message from his son read: "I want to be on a billboard one day daddy,". Since its original posting on March 1, the tweet has garnered over 3.3 million views and an outpouring of support for the late singer.

    One commenter expressed: "Proud son. Hopefully one day his dreams [will] come true.", reports the Mirror . Another chimed in with warmth, saying: "This is so cute. So proud of you Liam." A third shared their admiration at the time: "You made it. Look how far you've done it. So ****ing proud of you."

    The Mirror witnessed a flood of support for Payne on social media from numerous fans. After the news of his passing was confirmed, stars lined up to pay their respects. Paris Hilton mourned on Twitter: "So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing. Sending love and condolences to his family and loved ones. RIP my friend."

    The Irish duo Jedward also paid their respects, tweeting: "RIP Liam Payne. condolences to friends and family." They continued with a message of support: "Sending strength to Cheryl and his son Bear and all the One direction Family."

    Rylan Clark, who found fame on X Factor as well, described Payne's death as "tragic" adding: "Extremely sad news. V tragic and so young. RIP Liam x."

    MTV's official account posted: "We're deeply saddened to learn of Liam Payne's tragic passing today. During this difficult time, our hearts remain with his family, loved ones, and fans."

    Payne had catapulted to fame after his 2008 X Factor audition, becoming an integral part of the hugely successful boyband One Direction, and later pursued a solo career post the group's disbandment.
