A New Aldi Is Opening In FL In A Plaza With Target, Panera, & Texas Roadhouse. Freebies At Opening

Floridians who want to save money on their groceries have several options. There is Walmart, Target, Save-A-Lot, and Aldi. Some Floridians in Lecanto may be happy to know that their town is getting a new Aldi in a shopping center with other big retailers and restaurants. And there will be freebies at the grand opening.

Aldi's Aggressive Florida Expansion: Many Floridians know that several Winn Dixie stores are being converted to Aldi in the Sunshine State. However, the retailer is also opening new stores that weren't originally Winn Dixie, like the one that I just wrote about opening in Fountainbleu. Now Lecanto will get a new one.

The New Aldi And Freebies: A new Aldi will open on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 3155 West Norvell Bryant Highway. This is in the Shoppes at Black Diamond which also features a Target, Panera, and Texas Roadhouse.

When Target opened, shoppers conceded that the shopping center brought traffic to the area, but some felt it was worth it. Shopper Jennifer Keenan explained:

“It’s going to bring traffic but I think the county needs it.”

At the new Aldi ribbon cutting at 9 am, the first one hundred customers receive a golden ticket which could be worth $100, and Aldi goodie bags. There will also be reusable grocery bag giveaways. Additionally, customers will have a chance to win a $500 gift card by scanning a code inside the store.
