The latest episode of Chicago Fire took a shocking turn, ousting Jack Damon from Truck 81 and making fans curious about his replacement. Michael Bradway played Damon, who first appeared in Season 12 as a floater for Truck 81. However, his disobedience to Lieutenant Kidd’s order and lies got his job into massive trouble. So, what happened to Bradway’s character? Here are the details.

Who has replaced Jack Damon in Truck 81 in the Chicago Fire?

Ritter replaces Jack Damon in Truck 81 Chicago Fire.

Stella comes up with a solid choice in a desperate lookout for Damon’s replacement. She considers Kylie a potential candidate as she would obey Stella, unlike Damon. However, when she goes to her with the offer to join Truck, Kylie eventually declines it. She revealed about joining another floater, leaving Stella with no choice but to find someone else. Hermann proposes a new idea to Stella, suggesting that Ritter could join Truck, where he always wanted to be, and fill in for Damon. Moreover, he thinks Kylie would be a perfect choice for Engine.

What happened to Michael Bradway’s Jack Damon in the Chicago Fire?

Chief Pascal fired Bradway’s Jack Damon from Firehouse 51 in the Chicago Fire.

In Season 13 Episode 3, titled ‘All Kinds of Crazy,’ Lieutenant Stella Kidd takes termination action against Damon. This happens as Kidd realizes that Damon lied to her when she confronts him about not following her direct orders on a mission. During the mission, Damon eventually gives Kidd a hard time, but she doesn’t lose her cool for the sake of her good terms with Severide. However, she still makes the hard decision to let Damon go despite Chief Dom Pascal’s complaints about her team’s high turnover rate. Pascal also further cross-questions Kidd about not flagging problems about Damon earlier. Nevertheless, Damon is let go from Firehouse 51 and is put up in Firehouse 20.

However, these developments do not suggest Bradway’s departure from the show, as NBC has yet to comment.
