Dodgers' Game 3 Hero Turns Heads With 'Dragon Ball' Celebration With Shohei Ohtani

After getting clobbered in a 7-3 loss in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series at home, the Los Angeles Dodgers immediately returned the favor to the New York Mets. Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers wrecked the Mets in Game 3, 8-0., on Wednesday, with Ohtani hitting another monster home run.

Ohtani added to the Mets' misery with a powerful swing in the eighth inning, taking Tylor Megill's 89 MPH cutter deep for a 397-foot, three-run blast that gave Los Angeles a seven-run lead.

But there was another big home run from the Dodgers before that Ohtani dinger.

In the sixth inning, Enrique Hernandez launched a two-run homer that extended the Dodgers' lead to four. Once the 33-year-old veteran crossed home plate, he broke out a "Dragon Ball" celebration with Shohei Ohtani, who was getting ready for his at-bat.

That celebration certainly got fans buzzing.

The Dodgers, who now lead the series again with two wins against a loss to the Mets, are looking unstoppable. They have outscored New York through three games in the NLCS, 20-7.

With how things are going in the NLCS, which features two blowout Dodgers wins, the Mets might need to collect all seven Dragon Balls to pull off a series upset.

A chance to move a victory away from a trip to the Fall Classic comes for the Dodgers this Thursday when they send Yoshinobu Yamamoto to the mound for Game 4.
