Coldest morning of the season

Temperatures dropped into the 30s this morning for parts of the Northshore, with 50s south of the lake.

"The first truly chilly morning in about six months is here," WWL TV Meteorologist Alexa Trischler said. "High temperatures will be near 70 degrees this afternoon."

She says the chilly nights and mornings will be here the next few days with low humidity.

"High temperatures will gradually warm up with highs in the upper 70s on tap this weekend."

There is no rain in the foreceast for at least the next seven days.
