Following the tragic death of former One Direction member Liam Payne, who was just 31 years old, after falling from the third floor of the four-star CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, fans are grieving not only for his family and friends but also for his beloved dog, who has been left behind.

When a person passes away, they leave not only a wave of sadness and confusion for the humans who loved them dearly but also for their beloved fur babies. People are wondering who will care for the beautiful Pit Bull after Payne's sad passing.

In this past March of 2024, Payne shared the adorable Instagram post to his @ Liampayne account with the caption, "Off on my afternoon run, of course Stan attempts to keep up." with a cry-laughing emoji. The Teardrops singer can be seen running with the blue Pit Bull chasing behind him before Payne sits on the grass and the beautiful dog covers his face in kisses.

Heartbroken fans of the For You singer are voicing their concerns in the comments. One person said, "Who will take care of his puppy??? OMG..that dog will miss his Liam SOOO MUCH!" Another person replied, "So beautiful - love you Stan beautiful boy, feeling so sad for you , the heartbreak we all feel your baby boys Stan & Bear are going to miss their beautiful Daddy. God Bless you in heaven  so tragic the love of everyone who adored you, couldn't save you. May you rest in eternal peace."

Another sad comment read, "I hope someone takes the best care of Stan. I'm just so heartbroken."

After that precious clip was posted, a few weeks after Payne shared this sweet photo.

As of now there is no word on who will care for Stanley now, but we hope this dog gets the most wonderful home with someone who will adore him as much as Payne did.

Liam Payne Was Also a Foster Dog Dad

In September of this year, Payne and his social media influencer partner Kate Cassidy visited an animal shelter to foster a dog. This sweet video was shared to the @ Katecass account and show the couple bringing the sweet mixed breed dog home from the shelter.

In subsequent videos, it appears the dog, named Nala, ending up being an absolute foster fail .

Hours before his death, Payne posted on social media giving fans a tour of his hotel room on Snapchat where he was staying with Cassidy. In the video, Payne can be heard saying, "Haha, loser, weirdo," he joked with her about the fact she was leaving Argentina.

"Obviously, we're going to go home and see our dog," he said.

Our hearts go out to the fans and Payne's friends and family, and we hope both Stan and Nala get all the hugs and pets they need during this awful time.
