Is Macy's covering up a crime for money?

Good morning, Virginians. The lawsuits and bizarre tales connected to Sean Combs keep on coming; yesterday, nine of his alleged partners in crime's names were dropped. Now a major corporation has been accused of assisting the music mogul for gain.

Today, The Independent reports that Macy's Department Store is being accused of being complicit in covering up an alleged Combs assault. Business Insider reveals a "John Doe" in Ohio has filed a lawsuit claiming that in 2008, Combs orally assaulted a man.

    Another accusation against Sean Combs

The victim worked in the stockroom at Macy's flagship store in Herald Square, in Manhattan, New York. The plaintiff said he worked for Diddy's rival clothing company, Ecko.

He claims Comb's bodyguards physically attacked him. He says they threatened to kill him and forced him to call Diddy "Ecko." The plaintiff says the assault was reported, but nothing was done.

    Did Macy's choose money over a man's well-being?

Business Insider also noted that Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren pressured Ecko Unltd executives to fire the plaintiff because Macy's had just signed a multi-million-dollar deal with Sean John Clothing."

Sean Comb's lawyers said he could not address every "meritless accusation, Sean Comb's " but some Virginians believe this situation may have happened.

    Virginians share opinions

Roger A. from Richmond says many of the lawsuits may be baseless, but he is inclined to believe this one is true because of corporate greed. Earlene S. from Roanoke says things will probably worsen before they improve, so we should all brace ourselves because the truth can be very ugly.

Please keep in mind these are allegations that have not been proven in a court of law.
