She added that going to bed with a wet scalp makes the perfect environment for bacteria and fungus to grow. <h2>Hair Train</h2>Hair training is the idea that you can train your hair to produce less oil by washing it less often.However, Dr Aamna said that she thinks this is a "crazy concept", as oil production on the scalp is regulated by hormones.<nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate>"Whether you wash your hair five times a week or once a month, it's not going to reduce the amount of oil your scalp is producing", she explained.She added that by not washing your hair, you are creating a build-up of hair products that could lead to hair loss. <h2>Olive Oil</h2>Dr Aamna said that some people put olive oil on their scalp if they have dry and flaky skin.However, she revealed that this could actually make it worse, by causing fungus to thrive.She said that sticking to an anti-dandruff shampoo is a much better solution.Dr Aamna's (<a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@aamnaadel/video/7364098092225924385?q=hair%20loss%20tips&amp;t=1729149734378">@aamnaade</a>l) video has likely left many people impressed, as it has racked up over one million views.
