Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark added more accolades to her already memorable rookie year in the pros after she was named a member of the All-WNBA First Team.

In the process, Clark reached a couple of rare milestones, especially since it's unusual for first-year players to be given the honor.

Clark made it into the All-WNBA First Team after getting 52 out of a possible 67 first-team votes, as well as 14 second-team votes. Only one voter did not put the Fever All-Star to any All-WNBA team.

She joined WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson and Defensive Player of the Year Napheesa Collier, who were unanimous selections, as well as Breanna Stewart and Alyssa Thomas in the First Team.

With the honor, Clark became the first rookie guard since Diana Taurasi in 2004 to be voted into the All-WNBA First Team, per StatMamba.

She's also the first rookie to make the list since Candace Parker in 2008. Overall, Clark is just the fifth first-year player ever to achieve the feat, joining Sue Bird, Tamika Catchings, Parker and Taurasi.

It's certainly an incredible milestone for Clark considering the level of competition she had to face. However, it's certainly a well-deserved recognition.

Clark finished the 2024 WNBA season leading the league in assists per game with 8.4. She was also fifth in MVP voting after leading the charge in the Fever's return to the postseason for the first time since 2016.
