The farmer sold the land. you know that you are being manipulated by the electric company to be against solar panels. When the government wanted to get electricity into every they told whatever electric company won that region that they wouldn’t have any competition and they set the system so that they make money when they build more facilities. This made sure that there would be a reliable source and just one set of wired not a bunch from different sources and it gave a financial incentive for them building electricity supply in areas that weren’t previously profitable thus spreading it everywhere across the country. But solar panels cut into their controlled market and can provide even more electricity like so much so that if we used it as much as possible they would have to take all the wooden power poles down and replace them with the big giant metal ones because wooden ones couldn’t handle the amount of power coming thru it
