Epic Universe: Announcing Universal Orlando's New Theme Park Opening in 2025

Exciting News! Universal Orlando Resort has just announced through a press release on October 17, 2024, that it's brand new theme park, called 'Epic Universe' will be opening in the Spring of 2025. They will be making the big reveal just before Memorial Day Weekend on May 22, 2025.

The new theme park will be part of a 750-acre development project that will more than double the size of Universal in Orlando, Florida. Universal Orlando Resort currently operates two theme parks and a water park.

Epic Universe will introduce 5 different “worlds” consisting of: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic; Super Nintendo World; Dark Universe; How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk and Celestial Park.

''Tickets for the resort’s fourth park will start to go on sale as early as next week. Select multi-day tickets and vacation packages that include Epic Universe access will be available on Tuesday, Oct. 22, while Universal’s annual passholders will have the opportunity to purchase single-day tickets starting Thursday, Oct. 24.,'' according to PEOPLE.
