(10/17/2024) – Washington Spirit defender Casey Krueger and midfielder Hal Hershfelt have been called up to the U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) for the side’s October friendlies, U.S. Soccer announced today.Both Krueger and Hershfelt were part of the USWNT’s 2024 Olympic team that won gold in Paris. Krueger won her second Olympic medal with the team after taking bronze in Tokyo in 2021, while Hershfelt served as an alternate, training with the team throughout the tournament.
