The running back averages 9.9-yards per carry, and notably only played the first-half of multiple games for the Broncos this season. Jeanty has been so great for the Boise State staff that his effectiveness in just one half of play at times has helped win the game.</p><p>Jeanty is arguably on a generational run as the running back could break records held by the legendary Barry Sanders. Jeanty has played in six games this season and with half of the schedule remaining, the running back would need roughly 1,400 yards on the ground to break the single-season yardage record.</p><p>However, the record books are not necessarily what Boise State Broncos fans are worried about regarding Jeanty. Rather, fans want to see the running back win the Heisman Trophy this season. Jeanty has a solid chance at doing so but not without plenty of tough competition.</p><p>Quarterbacks Cam Ward, Dillon Gabriel, and Will Howard have all been on the Heisman Trophy watchlist this season. Perhaps the most notable player who has topped the list, even over Jeanty, has been two-way star Travis Hunter.</p><p>The wide receiver and defensive back has been excellent for the Colorado Buffaloes, but that does not mean Boise State fans will accept it.</p><h2>Boise State Broncos Fan States Hunter Holds “Above Average Stats”</h2><p>While Jeanty has been running the ball with force, Hunter has been making Superman interceptions and catching touchdowns at the same time.</p><p>It is a tough argument, choosing between extreme versatility or absolute dominance in one style of play.
