Do you have any old Coca-Cola glass bottles lying around? If so, go through them and see what you have as one type of bottle could be worth up to $4,000.

According to Coca-Cola, the rarest and most valuable Coca-Cola bottles for collectors are the early Hutchinson bottles, which date back to the mid-1890s and early 20th century.

These bottles were used for a short period, making them highly sought after in today's market. The unique feature of Hutchinson bottles is their metal stopper, which gave soda its "pop" sound when opened, according to Coca-Cola.

Due to their scarcity, especially in good condition, Hutchinson bottles can fetch impressive prices. A Hutchinson bottle with a Coca-Cola script-lettered logo can be valued between $2,500 and $4,000. Some have sold for even higher prices, according to Coca-Cola.

These bottles come in just a dozen varieties, found in select towns across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi, making them a challenge to collect.

As a piece of Coca-Cola’s rich history, Hutchinson bottles are a prized addition to any serious collection, both for their rarity and their connection to the origins of soda pop.

If you pull the plot records from old homes, the outhouse is at the far corner and they were filled with trash when they were no longer used. Not to mention things people dropped in there. Bottles are very common there.
