The latest Federal Election Commission filings revealed this week that pro-Trump billionaire Elon Musk has been helping to bankroll a super PAC that puts out ads both claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris is too pro-Israel for Arab-Americans and too pro-Palestinian for Jewish Americans, according to the Huffington Post.

The super PAC, Future Coalition PAC, raised eyebrows last month with an ad many critics dubbed anti-Semitic as it highlighted the Jewish faith of Harris’s husband to make the case to Arab voters in Michigan that she is not to be trusted when it comes to Israel.

The ad begins with a narrator dubbing “Kamala and Doug, America’s pro-Israel power couple” and then praises Harris for fighting to kill the “radical terrorists in Gaza.” It ends with the narrator noting that Harris “leans on Jewish husband Doug Emhoff to advise on high-level pro-Israel policies.”

On the flip side, the Musk-funded PAC puts out a completely contradictory message to Jewish voters in Pennsylvania.

“In Jewish communities throughout America, questions are being asked: Why did Kamala Harris support denying Israel the weapons needed to defeat the Hamas terrorists who massacred thousands?” the ad asks, adding, “And why did Harris show sympathy for college protesters who are rabidly antisemitic?”

The New York Times first traced the funding of the Future Coalition PAC to Musk by uncovering that he is a donor to the nonprofit that funds the political operation called Building America’s Future. The Huffington Post, which dubbed the Future Coalition PAC the “most cynical” political operation in 2024, reported on the money trail:

The New York Times, which broke news of Building America’s Future’s role before the FEC filing became public on Tuesday and confirmed Musk’s role in the organization, also reported that Building America’s Future had raised about $100 million over the past four years and has roughly only a dozen corporate or individual donors. In keeping with Musk’s interest in alleged voter fraud, Building America’s Future offers people $5 million awards for evidence of “illegal voting” or other election-related abuses.

Musk has also donated some $75 million in recent months to his pro-Trump super PAC.
