New York Jets Make Davante Adams Announcement After Trade

Davante Adams is officially a New York Jet as he's been reunited with his former quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, in the Big Apple. Now it appears that Adams will take the field for the first time in three weeks, which sidelined him during his final weeks as a Raider .

Adams' return is being confirmed by the New York Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich who said Adams will participate in Wednesday walkthroughs and play against the Steelers.

“I think so,” Ulbrich said. “Yep.”

This, of course, means that Adams and Rodgers will be able to immediately hit the ground running and see if they're able to turn around a disappointing Jets season. There was some speculation that Adams' hamstring would "magically" heal the second he left the Raiders, and it's either a coincidence or the truth because that's exactly what happened.

The New York Jets will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night football at 5:20 PT in Pittsburgh.
