    Yes, this is true very very, very true. Instead of putting these people where they belong to get the help they need they just locked them behind cages and let them do their time. It’s really hard on them and other inmates should be against the law this needs to be fixed immediatelybecause when they put these people in there, they give them no meds none zero don’t let them lie to you then people are suffering and so are the other people

    We used to have state institutions that could protect and handle those who cannot function in the general public. Central Louisiana Hospital was one institution that had well trained staff and inpatients were cared for safely and humanely. I knew one fellow that had been turned out in the streets who was harmless but people he encountered didn't know that he wasn't a danger. It all started when some liberal dogooders decided to file suits against the state because they felt that the rights of these patients were being violated. The consequences are still noticeable on the streets of almost any city today.
