Koe Wetzel Announces New Song “Good Times” Dropping Tonight

I'll never be mad about a new single from Koe Wetzel . He just announced that he has a new song dropping at midnight tonight called "Good Times," which comes in the heels of his 9 Lives album that was released back in July. From what I've heard in the short clip, it follows a lot the themes on that record of growing up and settling down (just a little bit), as he sings in the teaser about how he's been running on booze and pills for so long he doesn't really know how to stop. What he does know is that, eventually when the never-ending bender inevitably ends, he'll be all alone if keeps going the way he has been: "Runnin' on crushed up pills, Racking up bar tab bills, Crawlin' in and out of cage just to find my thrill, I been on one so long, Takin' one off feels wrong, Everybody knows that that's my deal, This never-ending bender I've been waiting on, When it's long gone I'm gonna be lonely" It has a cool melody and super catchy hook, and while it's certainly not the hard-charging, sex, drugs and rock and roll Koe we're used to, I am enjoying this change of pace and more reflective, introspective Koe we've been hearing lately: "'Good Times' tonight at Midnight ET.." https://www.instagram.com/p/DBO1KUZRFrr/ Koe will head overseas at the end of this month to wrap up his Damn Near Normal world tour in Europe, and has two special Christmas shows planned for December.
