There are more concerning border security developments to report from Texas.

First, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) acknowledges they have arrested a member of the violent Venezuelan migrant gang "Tren de Aragua" (TDA) wanted for a murder committed in Texas. HSI has not revealed additional details about that crime. They say HSI Special Agents along with U.S. Marshals and El Paso Sector Border Patrol Agents all participated in the October 11, 2024 arrest which occurred in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

The murder arrest follows concerns expressed by Texas law enforcement and government leaders about reports of increasingly violent activity of the TDA gang across the state. I have written an article about that you can read HERE.

This developing situation has prompted Texas Governor Greg Abbott to offer rewards of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of known or suspected Tren de Aragua (TDA) gang members. I have written an article about that you can read HERE.

Governor Abbott isn't mincing words when it comes to taking on this violent Venezuelan migrant gang. When he learned that a TDA member was suspected of recruiting Houston middle schoolers he told the Venezuelan migrant to "Go to jail and rot" in a tweet posted to x.com.

Are you worried about the presence of the violent Tren de Aragua gang in Texas?
