Fans Said The Same Thing About Tom Brady's Big Career Move

Tom Brady has ensured he won't be returning to play in the NFL, as the 47-year-old has signed on to be a minority stake owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The move was officially approved by NFL team owners during the annual league meetings earlier this week.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion, who competed with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2000 to 2022, will reportedly own a 10% stake in the team with his business partner Tom Wagner.
"I'm incredibly humbled and excited to have been approved as an owner of the Las Vegas Raiders," said Brady's statement, which has been viewed over 4.5 million times on X.
"Throughout my NFL career, I've learned that at its core, football is a game of teamwork, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. The Raiders franchise and the city of Las Vegas embody those same values, and I'm honored to become part of that story."
NFL fans were quick to send Brady a request once the deal with Las Vegas was official. Some fans asked Brady to "save" the Raiders franchise, given its low-grade results for the last two decades.
A few fans believe Brady, who retired as arguably the greatest player in NFL history, could bring his winning mentality to Vegas and help push the Raiders into championship contention.
"TOM BRADY IS PROBABLY THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE THE RAIDERS FRANCHISE," said one fan.
"Tom Brady will save my franchise. Raider nation is back," said another fan.
The Raiders, 2-4 on the season, are at the bottom of the AFC West, the same division as the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
While they've struggled on both sides of the ball this season, recently giving up 32 points to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brady and company have a couple of stars to work with.
The biggest star in Las Vegas is pass rusher Maxx Crosby. The Pro Bowl defensive end has produced 5.5 sacks and 20 total tackles this season.
They also have a promising weapon on offense: 2024 first-round pick Brock Bowers.
The tight end out of Georgia is the team's No. 1 pass catcher. Bowers has recorded one touchdown on 37 receptions and 384 yards through the first few games of his rookie season.
