Will Michael Easton return as Finn?

When Michael Easton left General Hospital this past summer, he said goodbye to fans and added that his firing felt final. This wasn't very clear to GH viewers, including those in Virginia, because Hamilton Finn was only supposed to be in rehab for three months.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Dr. Finn would soon be released from rehab, and GH viewers wondered what this meant for Easton. There has been no official announcement that Easton is returning, so if Finn shows up in Port Charles, it could be a recast.

Road to GH suggests that Easton will return after alcoholism treatment and will bring Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) with him. Budig is in a front-burner storyline as Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful, so it will be a recast if Hayden returns.
