The Harrisburg woman, whose name has been withheld, was driving her 2025 Kia Sportage north on South Oak Grove Road when she stopped and then entered Allentown Boulevard/S. Oak Grove Road in West Hanover Township without making sure the lane she was entering was unoccupied, according to PA State Police.

She collided with a 2015 Ford Expedition driven by a 54-year-old Grantville man, at 6:22 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16 around 6:22 p.m., PSP detailed in the release. Her vehicle was struck near the rear driver’s side door

She was taken to Hershey Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead, PSP noted. The man was not injured.

If the woman had lived she could have been charged with "3324 Vehicle Entering or Crossing Roadway," as stated in the release.

Could have had a medical issue prior to the accident. Even a dizzy spell could cause temporary disorientation and couldn't be proven on autopsy. Blood pressure medications are known for causing dizziness and doctors keep trying to push everyone's blood pressure further and further down even though they know it can be dangerous in the elderly.

Since when did they note what the deceased would have been charged with? How peculiar.
