Two individuals were arrested in connection with the raid:<ul><li>21-year-old John Cooley was charged with Trafficking of Methamphetamine after agents discovered 60 grams of methamphetamine in his possession. Cooley also had outstanding warrants issued by the Ellisville Police Department.</li><li>33-year-old Justin Gross was charged with Trafficking of Methamphetamine and Trafficking of Ecstasy While in Possession of a Firearm. Gross was found with 84 grams of methamphetamine and 421 ecstasy tablets. The street value of the seized narcotics was estimated at $5,000. According to agents, the quantity of fentanyl mixed with heroin was enough to kill 200 people.</li></ul>Lieutenant Jake Driskell of the JCSD Narcotics Division emphasized the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the county.<blockquote>“The lethality of these illegal narcotics cannot be overstated, and we are working daily to get them out of our communities,” Lt. Driskell said.</blockquote>Sheriff Joe Berlin reiterated the department’s commitment to targeting drug dealers in Jones County.<blockquote>“We are committed to making it very difficult for illegal narcotics dealers to do business here.
