Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Reunite for Day Out With Son Cruz

Even though they’re currently going through a divorce, The Valley stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are adamant about putting their 3-year-old son Cruz first. The couple separated nearly a year ago, and Brittany filed for divorce in August, but they will still engage in family activities together for Cruz’s sake.

On October 15, Jax and Britt put their differences aside and spent the day with Cruz at Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, California. Little Cruz had a ball checking out the farm animals, including baby chicks and chickens. He later went on a train ride with his mom, which Jax recorded on his Instagram Story.

Little Cruz is a farm boy at heart

“Cruzy! Cruz,” Jax said to his son as he walked around the farm with his hand covering his mouth in an expression of amazement. “Oh my goodness! Are you just shocked? Are you shocked?”

The little guy’s total happiness and excitement at experiencing all the farm animals and activities is heartwarming. The family rode a tractor around the farm, Cruz sitting with his mom while Jax sat behind them, taking photos.

As terrible of a husband as Jax seems, he appears to be a caring, concerned father. Both Jax and Brittany are trying to focus on their son and his well-being as they go through their divorce process. Britt has even publicly said she doesn’t want to start dating since Cruz is her first priority.

“I’ve got to focus on myself, obviously, focusing on my son. That’s the most important thing right now,” she told Access Hollywood earlier this month. “I’m just trying to stay positive, be as strong as I possibly can, and just, you know, focus on what’s important. ‘Cause, you know, my son’s the most important thing ever, and I need to focus on myself first.”
