Pontotoc County Man Kills Nephew, Arrested

A fatal shooting occured in Pontotoc County on October 4th, and authorities have released more details after further investigation.

Until today, the victim and shooter's names were unreleased by Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department. The shooter has been identified as Clarence Kisor, age eighty one, who has been accused of fatally shooting his nephew.

Pontotoc County Coroner Kim Bedford has identified the victim as Joey Onsby, age fifty five.

According to WTVA, the shooting occured on the evening of October 4th, in the area of Palestine Road.

Investigators of the shooting have charged Kisor with murder. Kisor received a bond of $1 million.
