US President Joe Biden has welcomed the killing of Hamas leader Yehya al-Sinwar by Israel's military.

"DNA tests have now confirmed that Sinwar is dead. This is a good day for Israel, for the United States, and for the world," a release from the White House said on Thursday.

"As the leader of the terrorist group Hamas, Sinwar was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Israelis, Palestinians, Americans, and citizens from over 30 countries," the statement said.

"He was the mastermind of the October 7 massacres, rapes, and kidnappings.

"It was on his orders that Hamas terrorists invaded Israel to intentionally – and with unspeakable savagery – kill and massacre civilians, a Holocaust survivor, children in front of their parents, and parents in front of their children," Biden asserted.

US intelligence services reportedly assisted the Israeli military in locating al-Sinwar and other Hamas leaders, as the statement further noted. It is claimed that Hamas is no longer capable of committing another massacre like the one on October 7, 2023.

Biden is set to speak soon with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the return of hostages still held by Islamist extremists in the Gaza Strip and the ending of the war.

It is suggested that there is now a chance for a "day after" in the Gaza Strip without Hamas in power. Biden also mentioned that there is an opportunity for a political solution that offers both Israelis and Palestinians a better future. Al-Sinwar was said to have been an obstacle, which is now removed.

"But much work remains before us," warned Biden.

Biden's National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan stated that al-Sinwar's killing provides the opportunity to achieve the return of the hostages and an end to the war.

The only thing Biden and Harris care about is trying to end the war for votes. They see polls on voters that want the war stopped... and fear Harris won't be elected ...if they can't take credit for stopping it.
