Tiny 6-Pound Chihuahua Is Searching For Love

(MA) Who doesn't love a truly adorable and tiny pocket pup? I know I do, and Yukio is a pup that fits the mold perfectly. This tiny and fluffy Chihuahua came into the Scituate Animal Shelter's care recently for undisclosed reasons. According to them, he is "the perfect dog", so he may not be in rescue care for very long. And, as that is the ideal situation for any dog in rescue, it has been noted simply so YOU know not to take too much time deliberating. If you think you want to give this little pup the home he rightly deserves, act fast!

    More Information On Yukio

Yukio is a male Chihuahua mix pup who is estimated to be around 10 years old. He is a teeny tiny thing weighing approximately 6.5 pounds. He has a long coat length, which, based on his pictures, is black, white, and cream in color. Yukio is up to date on his vaccinations and is neutered. Since he has had his top teeth removed, he will need a softer food diet.

According to the Scituate Animal Shelter, Yukio's main characteristics are loving and funny. He is described as a "petite gentleman dream boat" who would make a great little companion. His favorite activity is going for a jaunt outside, and cuddling on laps. Since he can be a bit loud at times, he is most likely not suited for apartment living. The Scituate Animal Shelter also believes he would do best as the only pet in a home. But you shouldn't worry about that as, "Yukio is so loving you wouldn't need anyone else"!

    How Can You Help Yukio

If you are interested in adopting Yukio, please visit the Scituate Animal Shelter's adoption page, which can be found here.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Scituate Animal Shelter can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Yukio's Petfinder profile: www.petfinder.com/dog/yukio
