Costs for Thanksgiving dinner soared in 2022, when supply chain struggles made crucial ingredients (like turkey) more scarce. Prices calmed in 2023, with the average cost of dinner for 10 ringing in at $61.17. ABC News reports that Thanksgiving will cost roughly the same in 2024, even though prices for certain products have shifted. The price of turkey and fresh cranberries are down, while prices for ham and canned foods, like pumpkin and green beans, have gone up.

Many retailers are working to keep Thanksgiving prices down, but Aldi is famous for its cheap groceries , which gives it a special opportunity to offer the lowest possible pricingabout 23% less than the average cost.
