Mike Tyson reaction to latest Jake Paul stunt says everything about fight

Jake Paul has disclosed that boxing legend Mike Tyson has yet to respond to his $5 million offer ahead of their anticipated face-off next month.

Earlier this month, "The Problem Child" made headlines when he audaciously offered Tyson a staggering $5 million if he can survive until the fourth round of their bout. In a video shared on TikTok via his betting platform, Betr, Paul is seen lounging shirtless on a couch, stacking money on his faux belly.

"Mikey, Mikey, if you can last more than four rounds with me, I'll give you an extra $5 million,'' the social media star declared. However, the 27-year-old American sensation's offer came with a twist. If Tyson fails to last more than four rounds, he will have to bear a permanent reminder of his defeat to the young contender.

He added: "But, if you don't, then you have to get a tattoo that says I love Jake Paul. Deal or no deal?"

In a recent chat with Sports Illustrated , Paul was quizzed about the wager and whether Tyson had reacted to the game-changing proposal. "I think I TKO or KO him in rounds four or five. But yeah, he hasn't responded to the bet and I don't think he probably will. I think he's locked-in in war mode."

Paul hasn't held back on taunting his rival since the official announcement of their fight. Notably, last month he shared a video where he's seen mock-lifting weights while donning a fake fat suit. Though Paul has taken some time to jest at the expense of his boxing foe, Tyson is convinced the young influencer is dead serious about the upcoming match.

Speaking at a press event, when quizzed about Pauls 'fat' jabs, the seasoned boxer commented: "I think he's taking it very seriously because his health depends on it. I'm not looking past him. I'm not taking it lightly at all."

Tyson himself emphasized his rigorous training regime for their encounter. Despite skeptics, during a conversation with Jimmy Kimmel, "Iron Mike" alleged he's putting in six hours daily at the gym.

"I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm," Tyson claimed. A surprised Kimmel inquired: "Oh no. 11am? So that's six hours straight, or is there a lunch break?" The ex-champ conceded there was a brief interlude, leaving Kimmel astonished as he exclaimed: "Oh no."

In the same interview, Tyson was asked about his upcoming fight with Paul and whether he planned to be high during it. His response? "I'm going to be so high off life, yeah."

When Kimmel probed further, asking if he would be high on marijuana, Tyson admitted: "That's a possibility, too." To which Kimmel humorously responded: "Oh no my bet is getting lower as we talk."
