Travis Kelce's Best Friend Leaves No Doubt About His Opinion of Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce is the type who remains faithful to his inner circle. A testament to this fact is how he's remained best friends with Aric Jones, whom he first met in their hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, nearly three decades ago.

Kelce was six when he met Jones, while the latter was just four. They have remained best friends since.

This is exactly why Jones' opinion of Taylor Swift matters significantly. For most people, how their family and closest friends feel about their significant others holds a lot of value in that these are the people who can get brutally honest with you -- be it something you want to hear or not.

The good news for Kelce is that his BFF has nothing but good things to say about his girlfriend for more than a year now.

Jones, who runs a successful clothing line named Homebred Legends, recently spoke to PEOPLE about how he's grown his brand through the years. He's gotten a lot of help from Kelce in terms of marketing Homebred, which has also extended to Swift, who is arguably the most popular celebrity on the planet right now.

"She has stuff, of course," Jones said of Swift having Homebred merch. "Why wouldn't she? That's family . Once you're in the family, you're fully engraved in this anyway.

"So it's like, why not do that for the people that you care the most about? It's an honor."

Jones isn't just saying this because Swift has helped elevate his brand. It appears that Jones truly has a genuine affinity toward Swift. After all, this is not the first time he's spoken so highly about someone who, as he said, he considers to be "family."

Wedding bells could be on the horizon for Kelce and Swift, and the Chiefs tight end will be happy to know that his potential soon-to-be bride has the glowing approval of his best friend.
