A man wanted for murder in Georgia was located walking on I-4 in Hillsborough County.

According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a trooper patrolling Hillsborough County saw a man walking the shoulder of I-4 westbound near I-75 around 10 a.m. Thursday.

The trooper asked for the person's driver's license and was identified as Edward Hunt, 62, from Georgia.

According to FHP, the trooper ran Hunt's license through the state and federal crime databases known as the FCIC/NCIC. The search revealed that Hunt had an outstanding warrant for murder in Georgia.

FHP said that Hunt was taken to the Orient Road jail and was taken into custody by detention deputies.

even though what he did by taking someone's life caught up with him and it's good that it did if he's actually the murderer, but is it illegal or some kind of violation of the law to walk on the shoulder of the road not interfering with or a distraction to the traffic. I asked this question because out of curiosity why did they stop him because he was just walking. Now I can see if an BOLO all point bulletin describing him was put out,but just because he was walking on the shoulder of the road not causing any kind of interference or distractions to the traffic there was no reason for them to stop him asking for his ID and legally he didn't have to give it to them, but if he would've refused to give them his lD the he probably would've got beaten unmercifully and disabled and died days later or gotten killed right there on the scene especially with him being black.
