ST. LOUIS COUNTY — A South Carolina woman pleaded guilty Thursday morning to a slew of crimes she committed during a multi-state murder spree in May 2021. Adrienne Simpson and her accomplice, Tyler Terry, were charged with killing 71-year-old Barbara Goodkin while she was driving in University City and Dr. Sergei Zacharev, 58, in a restaurant parking lot in Brentwood in May 2021. A police chief here at the time called the pair a “modern-day version of Bonnie and Clyde.”
