Woman hurt in Northwest DC shooting

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police in the District are searching for the people involved in a shooting that happened in Northwest D.C. on Thursday evening.

Shortly before 7 p.m., a woman was found shot in the 400 block of Manor Place NW. She was conscious and breathing.

The exact location of the shooting was not known, but shell casings were found along Georgia Avenue NW, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) noted.
